Substantial difference between private and public pensions in Mexico 2018-2021

The objective of this article is to analyse the pensions private sector workers, comparing them with those public sector. work framed under deductive method, a hermeneutic paradigm and quantitative approach. By 2018 in Mexico, total number pensioners Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS), 1.5 million received less than 5,000 pesos per month (69.8% IMSS 46.7% national total); while Services State Workers had 1.7% its retirees that segment; IMSS-employer 0.4%; Federal Electricity Commission (CFE) Petroleum Mexicans (PEMEX) 0%. This great inequality further accentuated when IMSS-insurer has 2,270 incomes 60-80 thousand month, CFE 16,707 earning 60-200 (7.3 times more 51 fewer IMSS-insurer).
